This is the time for new beginnings, new perspective, fresh approaches and a renewed desire to forge ahead. The old year is gone, the problems, the fears, the failures, the disappointments, but yes, the successes as well.
Every day that I live, I try to remind myself to be grateful for as much as I can. Doing that helps to boost my desire to keep trying and most of all to never give up. That would be easy, but God never promised us an easy road. He just promised that He would lead the way.
This new year presents a new challenge to our health and health care, but The Great Physician is still in and seeing patients daily 24/7/365. The office hours are great, the transportation problem solved and the price is right. The price, buy the way, was paid by Him. That's not how it usually works. Usually we pay the doctor. Boy, do we pay. What a great deal this is. Oh, I know we still have to see the earthly doctors once in a while, but it relieves the pain, knowing that the Expert, the top in His field, is in on my case at all times. I'm reminded of the words of a song ..."When He was on the cross, I was on His mind..." He was there for my salvation, to save me from the penalty, the power and after we are raptured or taken home by way of the grave, the presence of sin. What a wonderful Saviour! I'm so grateful today that He is just that. He's not a religion or a philosophy, but the only way of salvation, peace, and healing. There are some other words to an old hymn that are very powerful as well. "My faith has found a resting place, not in device nor creed. I trust the Everlasting One,His wounds for me shall plead. I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me." He died for you too and if you want Someone to lead you safely through another year or help you get a new perspective on life, then, let Him in. Accept Him today as your saviour and let Him take care of everything in your life for you.
As always, we are here to help you. We can still be reached at eandlhuested@comcast.net and we are waiting to hear from you.
Have a blessed and happy and trustful new year.
