It seems (emphasis on the seems) as though spring has arrived. The long winter is behind us and better days await us. With the new season comes hope and generally a sense of well-being. The energy that the cold dreary days have stolen from us is back and we are ready to go again.
Several events have taken place in our family in these first four months of the new year. First of all in January, we asked the doctor to change Ernie's medication regimen to what it was before he changed it the last time. At that time, he introduced a new medication that affected his balance very adversely and he was still having seizures. Now, things are better, He isn't as unsteady and the seizure activity has not increased. So, for this we are grateful to the Lord and the doctor . In February, we were blessed by a couple who were complete strangers to us, but we are brothers and sisters in the Lord and we had a wonderful time with them as we were waiting to see Lou Ann's doctor for her eye treatment. It is always amazing to see God's hand working to lend us encouragement. Many times it comes from unexpected sources. Last month we started a food/weight management program. We both are attending and being very successful. It is a time of encouragement and Bible study that is both refreshing and helpful. Others in the group are doing well and it is a joy to see the successes of everyone.
This month, we gave you our testimony as to what the Lord has done and is doing through us. If you have blessings to share, please do so. Also, remember we have Romans and the gospel of John to send to anyone who may desire them . As always, we are here for you. Please contact us at eandlhuested@comcast.net for anything you may wish to share.
Until next time,
Ernie and LouAnn
